Translation:
Yesterday everyone from Sweden celebrated a holiday called "Midsommar" (..like mid-summer..) And let's say, like 90% of the young people from where I live go to an island (Öland) to drink and sleep there.. Me, on the other hand, I'm celebrating my midsommar today in Golden Gate Park along with some swedish people but also americans and other nationalites too I suppose.
I can't say I'm the biggest fan of this holiday (as many young swedish people seem to be- it gives them a reason to party and get drunk and destroy campingplaces...?)... I don't like the food you eat, I don't drink and it always seem to rain on that day- so what is there to like, really? hehe. But the dance around the "midsummer-tree" and sing kidsongs, that's always fun :P

What beautiful photographs :) Haha and sounds like the perfect excuse to just let loose and party. Although I'd more partial to a smaller and quieter gathering with close friends to be honest! Hope you're having a beautiful weekend dear :)
Inte jag heller, midsommar-gillar alltså. I år iallfall. Kram!
those flowers are really pretty.
they celebrate it here at the Swedish cultural center in Paris and it's soooo adorable w/ the dancing and the singing...but yeah i guess getting drunk is not really part of it ! önskar dig a great midsommar anyway ;-)
