2 Days 2 Movies

God Natt.
Då såg vi Whip It.
Where The Wild Things Are.

Translation:
We went to the movies y-day (noooo, that is nothing au pairs do around here.. not at all, what maked u think that?). We watched Whip It. I don't really know what to say about it. I mean , it was a decent movie. But, but, but it was like very predictable regarding the jokes and all the funny parts- it was like they'd collected all the most common, basic- everyone-knows-them-jokes. And to me it wasn't funny because of that. Like when someone was about to say the joke- it was like I've heard it so many times before. And then some of the actors we're all that good either. But, cause it wasn't aaaaall bad, it was entertaining and I did like the end and the story (the movie is about rollerskating) + Ellen Page (who's staring) is one of my favorite actors and she did a good job.

Today, after a day in SF (where an old man screamed some very*not* nice words to me .. ok, he was probably high but still haha) we stopped at the movies and saw Where The Wild Things Are. It's based on a famous american kids book. The book is cute and the movie has been a kinda big deal around here. But I was rather disappointed. It was totally ok in the beginning and the end, but the middle part was soo long and non-action-filled. I mean, it was like nothing happened in the movie. A movie should have something that makes the audience to go "ooh whats gonna happen next" or something like that, but this one was just like nothing.. Or like, it didn't have any emotions... It was kinda flat. But ok, it was a little bit cute. I can't end with only negativity hehe..

Thanks for stopping by! Keep reading and I'll do the same. I'm interested in seeing Whip It due to wanting to discover how good a director Drew Barrymore might be, though I agree that the jokes (in the trailer) seem obvious

Those were two movies I wanted to see, but they've been getting such 'eh' reactions! Thanks for your review though...it's very helpful to deciding if I should spend the 10 bucks on a ticket or not!
